What is the speed of the cameras?

The default camera speed (aka frame rate, frames-per-second, and refresh rate) is 30 hertz, or 30 times per second.  The minimum required to capture a typical nystagmus is 20 frames a second, so our goggle captures more than necessary for the most common forms of nystagmus. 

We are able to increase the speed of the cameras at the expense of the image resolution–contact our support team if you’re interested in exploring this option.
