Join Co-Founder Dr. Helena Esmonde PT, DPT, NCS and Dr. Colin Grove, PT, PhD as they discuss and take live questions about recent research on the topic of The Gait Disorientation Test.
Dr. Grove received his academic doctorate in Clinical Investigation from Institute for Clinical and Translational Research at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and his clinical doctorate in physical therapy from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. He completed a postdoctoral fellowship in the Neuromuscular Coordination Laboratory within the Department of Kinesiology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. At present, he is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Laboratory of Vestibular NeuroAdaptation within the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. His research interests include developing novel interventions to address the sensorimotor and perceptual challenges faced by persons with vestibular dysfunction, and he has presented his findings at national and international conferences. Dr. Grove is a Board-certified Specialist in Neurologic Physical Therapy, and he has practiced neurologic and vestibular physical therapy for 28 years.
