Step 4 – View & Record Session
After the initial software setup is complete and the goggles are on the wearer, please complete the following steps for a successful viewing session.
1. CENTER EYES IN VIEW
C. Confirm Both Eyes Are Centered
- Press the number 3 on your keyboard to switch to scene with both eyes displayed
- If you need to modify one or both eyes, return to the master scenes by pressing 1 and/or 2 and update the individual eye positions until they are in the correct position.
Note: You cannot adjust the layout or position of items in the 3 – BOTH scene. You can only change the eye positions in the master scenes 1 and 2.
2. SCENE SWITCHING
Using your keyboard is fast and efficient during a session. While in OBS, use the following keyboard shortcuts to switch quickly between the views.
1 – LEFT
This shows the Left camera and a label. This is a master scene and is used to center the pupil for all other scenes.
2 – RIGHT
This shows the Right camera and a label. This is a master scene and is used to center the pupil for all other scenes.
3 – BOTH
This shows the Left and Right camera centered in the display.
4 – ROOM
This shows the optional Room camera and a label. This is a master scene and is used to center the room for all other scenes
5 – LEFT with ROOM
This shows the Left camera with the Room camera as a picture-in-picture in the upper-right.
6 – RIGHT with ROOM
This shows the Right camera with the Room camera as a picture-in-picture in the upper-right.
7 – BOTH with ROOM
This shows the Left and Right camera with the Room camera as a picture-in-picture in the top center.
3. RECORDING
A. Click Start Recording
The button is in the lower right-corner in the Controls section
B. Click Stop Recording
Click this when you are ready to stop recording.
4. VIEWING SAVED FILES
A. Click File… Show Recordings
The menu is along the top of the screen. Once clicked, a window will open showing you the location of your recordings.
