Join us for a one and a half day vestibular course designed to build confidence in the examination, differential diagnosis, and treatment of patients with dizziness and balance disorders. Topics include vestibular anatomy, physiology, and nystagmus review; BPPV lecture and lab; atypical BPPV; updates in vestibular interventions and examination and management considerations for Ménière’s disease, vestibular migraine, and 3PD. Complex case studies and discussion will help participants translate course content into practical clinical care.

Speaker: Sara Oxborough, PT, DPT
Sara currently works at M Health Fairview in the ENT Department. She also serves as adjunct faculty at the University of Minnesota and Augustana University. Sara enjoys treating a wide range of vestibular disorders and balance impairments, with a particular interest in vestibular migraine. She also works with Vestibular First as the Director of Education. She received her Competency Certification in Vestibular Rehabilitation from Emory University in Atlanta, GA, and the American Physical Therapy Association in 2009. Sara has been involved in leadership within the Vestibular Special Interest Group since 2010, recently joined the Balance and Falls Special Interest Group
leadership team, and has served on the ANPT Telehealth Task Force. She teaches vestibular rehabilitation courses at the local, national, and international levels and has co-authored several studies advancing the field.
