Join Co-Founder Dr. Helena Esmonde PT, DPT, NCS and Dr. Alan Desmond AuD, CCCA as they discuss and take live questions about recent research on the topic of Capturing Acute Vertigo Using Video-Oculography.
Dr. Desmond is the founder of Blue Ridge Hearing and Balance Clinics, and has been on staff since 1983. He is a nationally recognized expert in the diagnosis and treatment of dizziness and balance disorders. He has authored numerous publications related to the field of audiology, dizziness, balance disorders and vestibular rehabilitation. His booklet, Balance Disorders: A Short Course for the Primary Care Physician, is in its’ third printing and has been widely distributed throughout North America. His first full length textbook, Vestibular Function: Evaluation and Treatment, was released in May of 2004. The 2nd edition of his textbook, Vestibular Function: Clinical and Practice Management was released in June 2011. Dr. Desmond is a frequent invited speaker at conferences throughout the United States.
