What software is compatible with your infrared video goggles?
Our infrared video goggles are compatible with any webcam software that can connect to a USB 2.0 camera (which is almost all of them). We recommend the use of Open Broadcast Studio due to the features and flexibility for setting up multiple scenes, zooming and centering the eyes, and picture-in-picture capacity. Here’s the the list of software that we’ve currently used and connected out cameras to:
- Open Broadcast Studio
- Windows 10 Camera App
- Quicktime (Apple & Windows)
Note: It is not recommended to use the Photobooth or Facetime App for Apple because it reverses the direction of the eyes and will not give you accurate visual information. This is especially important when trying to identify which side is affected by a vestibular disorder.
