DESCRIPTION:Join Vestibular First Co-Founder\, Dr. Helena Esmonde\, PT\, DPT\, NCS and special guest Dr. Karen Litzy\, PT\, DPT for a special virtual presentation on\, “How to Establish\, Market\, and Grow A Vestibular Practice.” \nDr. Litzy graduated from Misericordia University with a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy in 1997 and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2014. She has worked in a variety of settings including inpatient hospitals\, public schools and outpatient clinics. She now focuses her time seeing patients using an innovative “concierge” model\, where she is able to see patients individually and in a variety of settings to make their treatment both personal and convenient.  Dr. Litzy also hosts the Healthy Wealthy and Smart podcast which focuses on providing both clinical information and business strategies to physical therapists and people in various other professions. He is also a member of the Barany Society\, Ibero-American Neurotology Foundation (FINO)\, Brazilian Academy of Military Medicine\, and the Research Group in Otology and Otoneurology at HCPA/CPPq. He received his medical degree from the School of Medicine and Surgery of Rio de Janeiro in 1973 specializing in Otorhinolaryngology and Otoneurology.  He is a retired medical Lieutenant Colonel\nin the Brazilian Air Force. DESCRIPTION:Join Co-Founder Dr. Helena Esmonde PT\, DPT\, NCS and special guests Dr. Melissa Castillo Bustamante and Dr. Jorge Madrigal Duval as they discuss issues surrounding quality of life in patients with vestibular disorders and answer viewer-submitted questions. \nDr. Castillo Bustamante is the current Medical Director of the Medellín Vertigo and Dizziness Center in Colombia. She is a specialist in Otorhinolaryngology\, a fellow in Otopathology at Harvard University\, and has training in Otoneurology in three countries. She is a member of the Barany Society\, Colombian Association of Otorhinolaryngology\, American Neurotology Society\, Ibero-American Foundation of Neurotology\, and Schuknecht Society. Dr. Castillo Bustamante is also a researcher and teacher in Colombia\, Chile and Paraguay\, and co-author of 37 international publications as well as the current research coordinator of the Vertigo and Dizziness Centers of CDMX\, Guadalajara and Medellín.  \nDr. Madrigal graduated from Anáhuac University and specialized in otorhinolaryngology at the Spanish Hospital in Mexico and continued his specialization in vestibular rehabilitation at the Center for Dizziness and Balance Disorders at Emory University in Atlanta\, GA. He is the first Mexican doctor to receive certification by the American Physical Therapy Association in vestibular rehabilitation. He has currently treated more than 6\,500 patients in the more than 10 years of experience he has in the area.
